A capo has a string press element with an arm and a lever clamp that are coupled to form a clamping opening. The lever clamp has an adjustment end to adjust the size of the clamping opening. A trigger is provided to implement clamping operation. The clamping opening can clamp frets of a guitar. The capo can be quickly and easily deployed by a user single-handed through the trigger during playing the guitar.
