A meeting table (1), below its horizontal top (7) which forms a working area, has a container (10) housing a system (2) for remote conferences, in particular for telepresence or videoconference meetings; inside the perimeter of the top (7), at least one video screen (12) of the system (2) for remote conferences can move between a first, raised position, in which it rises up from the working area, and a second, lowered position, in which it is housed in a retracted fashion below the working area, in particular inside the container (10).
