The eye shield may include a frame for supporting the eye shield upon a user and a pair of hinges that are arranged upon the frame between a pair of temple portions and an intermediate segment of a forehead portion of the frame. A lens may be mounted to the pair of hinges for pivotal movement from a flat position to a use position.
