The absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an annular absorbent member and a second absorbent member. The annular absorbent member is disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The annular absorbent member absorbs and retains a liquid passing through the top sheet. The annular absorbent member defines an aperture in a central portion thereof. The second absorbent member is disposed between the annular absorbent member and the back sheet. The second absorbent member has a visible area aligned with a position of the aperture of the annular absorbent member.
