The adjustable bicycle carrier also contains a locking device including a swing arm, and the swing arm having a fixing mount secured on a predetermined portion thereof, wherein the positioning block and the fixing mount simultaneously swing with the swing arm, the fixing mount has a teeth portion for engaging with the pawl wheel, such that when the swing arm swings, the pawl wheel engages with or disengages from the toothed portion.
