The upper surface of a resin chassis, said upper surface facing a touch panel, is provided with steps having a height equal to a thickness of a double-sided tape or less. The double-sided tape is disposed in a region, which is at the lower level of the steps. In a region where and end portion of the double-sided tape is disposed, wall at a level equivalent to the upper level of the steps is provided such that double-sided tapes and a display device are spatially separated from each other.
