In some implementations, a method includes determining a plurality of users in a specified group of users of a social network system. The method also includes receiving photos associated with the users. The method also includes providing an interface enabling the plurality of users to collaborate in creating a group photo collection, where the group photo collection includes the plurality of photos. The method also includes providing one or more recommendations to create a photo album based on one or more themes, where the one or more themes are based on patterns of objects recognized in the plurality of photos.
