The apparatus comprises: a hardware storage unit adapted to store therein an operation history on a plurality of applications; a generating unit adapted to generate first degree-of-association information indicating a degree of association in a first period among the plurality of applications and second degree-of-association information indicating a degree of association in a second period among the plurality of applications, on a basis of an operation history stored in the hardware storage unit; a hardware receiving unit adapted to receive a designation of any of the first period and the second period; and an arranging unit adapted to arrange the plurality of objects based on their degree-of-association information.
