An inflatable device for water self-rescue comprising one or more buoyant inflatables having a substantial size and shape to secure to one or both lower extremities of a self-rescuer, or to one or both shoulders of a single human carrier for transport of watercraft for another embodiment. Shapes of the various inflatable embodiments include an incurvate side, triangular prism, streamlined, and to encompass a portion of the lower extremity. Embodiments include one or more straps to secure the inflatable to the lower extremity, another inflatable, or the watercraft. The device secured to the lower extremity increases water-area and buoyancy to more effectively engage the lower body muscles while performing a standard or similar self-rescue maneuver to aid reboarding watercraft or swimming to safety. The device makes possible single human transport of watercraft which lack a design structure for solo transport such as a kayak.
