An element implemented for the chest strap of the chest harness, capable of limited stretching over a given section, is suitable for significantly reducing the risk of injury caused by sudden loads on the chest of the animal during use. Due to the low load-bearing capacity of the elastic portion, the extent of stretching of the chest strap is limited by a separate element, an element limiting the stretching of the elastic portion.
