Computationally implemented methods and systems include acquiring data regarding a device having a particular protected portion for which the device is configured to selectively allow access, facilitating presentation of an offer to carry out at least one service, said at least one service at least partly related to the device, in exchange for access to the particular protected portion of the device, and facilitating performance of at least a portion of the at least one service that is at least partly related to the device, in response to a grant of access to the particular protected portion of the device.
