UTI Ventures

United Trusts of India (UTI) Ventures is a private equity and venture capital firm headquartered in Bangalore, India. It was founded in 2001 by the United Trusts of India Asset Management Company, which is a joint venture of the State Bank of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank. The firm makes private equity investments in Indian companies in the e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, consumer brands, infrastructure, and technology sectors.

In 2009, the company was renamed Ascent Capital. In 2016, it was reported that the firm's assets under management totaled $600 million. They generally make investments in portfolio companies between $10-30 million.
