UVD Robots are clinically tested and verified by Melbec Microbiology, OUH Odense University Hospital, and the Danish Technological instituteDanish Technological institute. Each UVD robots has a 360 degree disinfection coverage, a battery charge time of 3 hours, an operating time per charge for disinfection of between 2-2.5 hours (equal to disinfecting about 9-10 rooms) and a running time of up to 8 hours as a mobile platform, can move up to 5.4 km/hr, possesses wi-fi connectivity and support from a native software application, a UV light emitter using 254NM (UV-C light), a total weight of 140 kg, and built-in sensor and software based safety features with an emergency stop button.

The company sells their ultraviolet, self-driving, disinfectant robots in over forty countries. They look to provide for European country states, as well as the United StatesUnited States during the COVID-19 outbreak.

With the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus), UVD Robots has provided disinfection robots to hospitals in ChinaChina to help fight the virus. The robots are equipped with ultraviolet light which can disinfect and kill viruses and bacteria autonomously. They are designed to protect hospital staff, and to reduce the spread of infections. The concentrated UV-C light emitted by the robots has a germicidal effect which works on all microorganisms in the air and on the surfaces in the room the robot is in. UVD Robots provided robots for over two-thousand hospitals.
