British statistician
Udny Yule (born February 18, 1871, in Morham, died June 26, 1951, in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire) was a mathematician and statistician from the United Kingdom. Yule obtained his education from University College London (UCL) and was a doctoral student of Heinrich Hertz. Throughout his career, Yule made contributions to the fields of mathematics and statistics, helping to advance these disciplines during his lifetime.
