Ukrpol

Ukrpol produces packaging products for the food, pharmaceuticals, household, and cosmetics industries. The company owns a car park it uses to deliver products throughout Ukraine and the EU. Ukrpol also delivers orders to different countries around the world and assists customers from Europe with customs clearance.

The Ukrainian printing company was established in 1997 by Serhiy Kovalchuk. Since 2021, the company has built three production sites. Ukrpol offices are located in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, and the capital of Poland—Warsaw. In 2000, the company's production area reached ​​1,000 m². This allowed for the installation of other equipment and the production of foil labels.

In 2004, Ukrpol opened another factory, with an area of ​​5,000 m². The range of products expanded to include paper labels, books and advertising, and magazine products. From 2005 to 2007, the company implemented an automated process control system. In 2007, the quality management system, ISO 9001, was introduced.

In June 2010, another production site with an area of ​​10,000 m² was constructed. Its purpose was the manufacture of cardboard packaging for the food, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, cosmetics, and other industries. The building also serves as the company's headquarters. From 2015–2017, the number of production lines increased. Ukrpol began to offer services like holograms, lamination, 3D packaging, envelopes, and other products.

The company also introduced the ISO 22000 (HACCP) and FSC-STD-40-004 standards. In 2019, Ukrpol opened a section for the production of flexible packaging based on aluminum foil, for the pharmaceutical, food, and household industries. In 2021, the company implemented the requirements of the BRCGS Packaging and Packaging Materials standard. This allowed them to expand access to the European market.

Ukrpol takes orders for cardboard packaging in medium and large runs. They create packaging of different shapes and designs with the possibility of gluing about eight points. They also produce FSC® (FSC C128653) certified products, for users who desire to support the responsible use of forests.

They create cardboard packaging according to customer requirements. They can be products with a continuous or selective lacquer coating. Specifically, the company performs water-dispersion and UV varnishing, including glossy or matte lamination with films of various toning. They also create packaging for the protection of products during transportation.

Ukrpol products comply with the BRC GS PPM food safety management system. Their food packaging is made with low-migration materials and can be used to package burgers, french fries, pizza, chocolate, desserts, and other foods. They also apply the required printing according to the customer's needs, from the logo to information about the product. Information can include weight, ingredients, data on energy value, expiry date, storage conditions, and information about the manufacturer.

To forestall the counterfeiting of pharmaceuticals, the company handles the pasting on the packaging of holograms. Ukrpol also provides Braille in accordance with the requirements for the packaging of medicines. The company's packaging materials are for protecting medicines against the effects of sunlight, excessive moisture, and damage. They also produce packaging of different designs and levels of complexity for consumers.

Ukrpol produces cardboard packaging for perfumes and other cosmetics in large scale. The company creates boxes for various cosmetics like creams, sprays, soaps, lipsticks, and perfumes. They produce cardboard packaging of different configurations, complex or unusual shapes with internal fasteners that allow users to keep the product intact. When necessary, the company also handles embossing and finishing with foil.

Ukrpol makes packaging for goods that weigh about 1 kg. These can include packaging for soap, washing powder, personal care products, and dishwashing detergents. They utilize different printing technologies, depending on the composition of the product and the scope.
