The name for the company comes from a gold coin by the same name, which was used as currency on the Silk Road. Umay was launched in 2021 and is the self-proclaimed first IDO launchpad in Central Asia.The ecosystem of Umay is comprised of its venture fund, over-the-counter (OTC) desk, IDO launchpad, and NFT marketplace.It is a multi-chain network, making it compatible with other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Polygon.
