The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is a public educational institute and a part of the University of Alaska System. It was founded in 1954 and is located in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. UAA's parent organization is the University of Alaska System, and it also has a subsidiary, Matanuska–Susitna College.
