University of Buenos Aires

The University of Buenos Aires (UBA), also known as Universidad de Buenos Aires, is a public educational institute located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Established in 1821, UBA is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Argentina, and is affiliated with the International Forum of Public Universities.

UBA operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. The university's motto is "Argentum virtus robur et studium".

The university has a subsidiary, the Laboratorio de Procesamiento de Señales en Comunicaciones de la FIUBA, and is an instance of both an organization and an educational institute.
