University of Burgundy

The University of Burgundy (Université Bourgogne) is a public educational institute located in Dijon, France. Established in 1722, it operates under the legal form of an Établissement public à caractère scientifique, culturel et professionnel. The university is active in the fields of higher education, university education and is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of France.

The University of Burgundy is affiliated with the European University Association and FORTHEM Alliance. It also has a subsidiary, known as the University of Burgundy - Franche-Comté.
