The University of Hawaii at Hilo (UH Hilo) is a public educational institute located in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Established in 1970, it is a subsidiary of the University of Hawaii and part of the University of Hawaii System.
UH Hilo holds accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission, the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The university is affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.
