The University of Michigan–Dearborn (UM-Dearborn) is a public educational institution located in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. Established in 1959, it operates as a part of the University of Michigan System, with the University of Michigan as its parent organization.
UM-Dearborn is an accredited organization, recognized by several accrediting bodies, such as the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Higher Learning Commission, American Chemical Society, Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
