The University of Monterrey (Universidad de Monterrey) is a private educational institute founded in 1969. Located in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico, the university operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. It is also referred to as Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM).
The institution is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico, the Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior, and the Asociación de Instituciones de Enseñanza de la Arquitectura de la República Mexicana. UDEM's motto is "Homo Hominis in Ministerio Perficitur".
The University of Monterrey maintains affiliations with numerous professional and academic associations, both nationally and internationally. Some of these affiliations include the American Library Association, Asociación Mexicana de Universidades Privadas, and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
