The University of Ottawa is a public educational institution located in Sandy Hill, Ottawa, Canada . The university was founded in 1848 and is an organization within the higher education sector. The university is accredited by various organizations, such as the American Psychological Association, Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of Ontario, and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
