University of Salamanca

The University of Salamanca is a public educational institute located in the city of Salamanca, Spain. Founded on September 11, 1252, it was established by Alfonso IX of León. The university is part of various international networks, including the Coimbra Group, European University Association, and Open Education Consortium. It operates under the accreditation of the Ministry of Universities of Spain.

Also known as Universidad de Salamanca, the institution focuses on education, higher education, and serves as a university. The university follows the motto "Quod Natura Non Dat, Salmantica non praestat". As of the time of writing, the University of Salamanca has one assigned patent.
