The University of São Paulo, also known as Universidade de São Paulo, is a public educational institute located in São Paulo, Brazil. It was founded on January 25, 1934, and operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. The university's motto is "Scientia Vinces".
This university is composed of several subsidiaries, including the Law School, University of São Paulo, Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto, and the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo.
