The University of Wales, also known as Prifysgol Cymru in Welsh, is a public educational institution founded in 1893. It is headquartered in Cardiff, United Kingdom. The university is accredited by the Privy Council and is affiliated with Universities UK and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The motto of the University of Wales is "Goreu Awen Gwirionedd".
