University of the East (UE) is a private educational institution located in Manila, Philippines. Founded in 1946, the university is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines and the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation. It is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning.
UE operates within the higher education and university industries, emphasizing their commitment to education. The university's motto is "In the Service of the Youth, Country and God". UE comprises several subsidiary institutions, such as the University of the East College of Law, College of Dentistry, College of Business Administration, College of Computer Studies and System, Graduate School, and Chorale, among others.
UE has also established campuses in various locations, including University of the East Caloocan , University of the East Ramon Magsaysay, and University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. Furthermore, the university maintains international subsidiaries, such as those in Venezuela, El Salvador, and Mexico.
