University of the Philippines Manila

The University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) is a public educational institute located in Manila, Philippines. Founded in 1908, UP Manila is an organization that operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. Its motto is "Honor and Excellence".

UP Manila is accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities, the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, and the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation. It is affiliated with the South Manila Education Consortium, SEAMEO TROPMED, the Philippine National Health Research System, the European Academic University Network, and the Pacific Rim of Universities.

The University of the Philippines is the parent organization of UP Manila. Subsidiaries of UP Manila include the University of the Philippines Manila College of Arts and Sciences and the University of the Philippines Manila School of Health Sciences in Leyte.
