University of the Witwatersrand

The University of the Witwatersrand, also known as Wits University, is a public research and educational institute located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 1922, the university operates under the motto "Scientia et Labore". Wits University is accredited by various organizations, including the Association of MBAs, Royal Institute of British Architects, South African Council for the Architectural Profession, Engineering Council of South Africa, Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa, and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation.
