Vangelis

Vangelis, also known as Βαγγέλης, is a Greek composer, musician, and record producer. Born on March 29, 1943, in Greece, he is known for his work in various genres such as ambient, electronic music, experimental music, progressive rock, and rock music.

As a keyboardist and composer, Vangelis has worked on notable projects such as the film scores for Blade Runner and 1492: Conquest of Paradise. In addition to his music career, Vangelis is also a painter and film score composer.

Vangelis studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts and later at the Lycée Léonin. He had Greek nationality and held Greece's citizenship. Vangelis passed away on May 17, 2022, in Paris.
