Vasily Tatishchev

Vasily Tatishchev (born April 19, 1686) was a Russian anthropologist, historian, geographer, economist, politician, lexicologist, and explorer. He was born in Pskov and was a citizen of the Russian Empire .

Tatishchev's work in various fields became a valuable resource for different studies, such as economy, history, and geography. He was the author of "Russkaya Pravda" and "Sudebnik of 1550" .

He was the founder of the Seversky Pipe Plant. Tatishchev was the child of Eupraksiya Tatishcheva and Eugraf Tatishchev. He passed away on July 15, 1750, in Boldino, Dmitrovsky Uyezd, Moscow Governorate .
