Swedish writer
Verner von Heidenstam was a Swedish poet and writer born on July 6, 1859, in Olshammar. Heidenstam held Swedish nationality and was awarded the 1916 Nobel Prize in Literature. He was known for his poems and prose work that often depicted a great joy of life and celebrated aspects of Swedish history and scenery.
