Vincent Schaefer was an American chemist and meteorologist largely credited with developing the technology of cloud seeding.
Vincent Schaefer (1906-1993) was a chemist from the United States. He was born on July 4, 1906, in Schenectady, New York and died in the same city on July 25, 1993. Schaefer is known as the creator of cloud seeding, a method used to increase precipitation from clouds by altering their composition.
