Violant of Hungary (1215-1251) was born in Esztergom and was a Queen consort and politician from Spain. She was the second wife of King James I of Aragon and a member of the Hungarian House of Árpád. Violant was the daughter of Andrew II of Hungary and Yolanda de Courtenay.
Violant was the mother of several notable children, including Peter III of Aragon, Violant of Aragon, Constance of Aragon, James II of Majorca, Isabella of Aragon, Queen of France, Sancho of Aragon (archbishop of Toledo), and Constance of Aragon, Lady of Villena.
She passed away in Huesca in 1251.
