Ukrainian singer.
Vladimir Dantes (real name - Vladimir Igorevich Gudkov, Ukrainian Volodymyr Igorovich Gudkov) - Ukrainian singer, TV presenter, radio host, ex-member of the DiO.filmy group ("Dantes & Oleinik ”), which disbanded in 2015.
Vladimir Gudkov, better known under the pseudonym Vladimir Dantes, was born on June 28, 1988 in Kharkov. The future artist grew up in an ordinary family, his father worked in law enforcement. As a child, the boy dreamed of following in his father's footsteps and becoming a policeman. With age, Vladimir began to get involved in music, and teachers noted the guy's good vocals. As a result, the parents sent their son to the choir. At the age of 4, Dantes conquered the kindergarten with the signature song "A grasshopper was sitting in the grass."
At school, Vladimir did not experience problems with academic performance, but he had a mischievous character, and he was kicked out of class more than once for bad behavior. Soon the young man entered the musical and pedagogical school, where his studies allowed him to show his talent in the future. In this educational institution, the future musician received the specialty of a vocal teacher.
Despite the guy's desire to connect life with music, his parents advised him to get a more promising profession. Vladimir entered the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in financial business management. After graduating from high school, the young man worked for some time as a bartender, a party host and even an installer.
After participating in the "Star Factory - 2", the musician continued his studies and entered the Lyatoshinsky Kharkov School, where he studied with his teacher Lilia Ivanova. In 2015, Vladimir also became the host of the Lux FM radio station.
Dantes is married. His wife is the soloist of the group "Time and Glass" Nadya Dorofeeva.
They met in 2011. Prior to this, Dantes, who is directly related to the music industry, saw Nadia, but she seemed to him an arrogant girl, so he did not dare to get to know each other better. But one day, when he was traveling with other popular Ukrainian performers to the Golden Gramophone on the same train, he saw Nadya and Positive, her bandmate.
Positive Dantes knew well, so he sat down with them in the compartment and started a conversation. Moreover, as the singer later recalled, at first glance at Nadia, he promised that he would certainly marry her. And so it happened - after 4 years of a stormy relationship, with scenes of jealousy and fights, passionate reconciliations and vows of eternal love, in 2015 they got married.
Before his marriage, Vladimir had a reputation as a heartthrob and womanizer. At the "Star Factory" he met with Anastasia Vostokova. As it turned out later, for the sake of PR, in an interview he admitted that he loved a completely different girl then. The young man loves to cook, listen to music, sing, watch TV, read. Among his preferences, he named short stories about the travels of Dina Rubina, as well as unusual art-house cinema.
Critics have repeatedly noted the striking similarity of the singer with the French actor Louis Garrel, the same handsome and intellectual who played in the drama “That Summer of Passion” with Monica Bellucci and independently performed vocal parts in the musical “All Songs are Only About Love”.
At the beginning of 2018, the host of the travel show “Food, I love you!” and his wife Nadezhda enjoyed a joint trip to America. They rarely manage to be together because of the specifics of the work - constant travel, tours, concerts.
The artist admitted that he continues to collect musical material, and if a potential hit appears with which he can return to the big stage, he will do it. But he does not plan to quit working on television. In the future, he would like to implement his own project on TV - an interactive show that gives people a good mood and hope for a peaceful and happy life.
