Vladimir Ilyushin (1927-2010) was a Russian writer, aircraft pilot, test pilot, and Honoured Test Pilot of the USSR. He was born in Moscow and was the son of Sergey Ilyushin. Vladimir Ilyushin was a citizen of Russia.
Throughout his life, Ilyushin was recognized with a number of awards and honors, such as Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin. He also received the Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, the Lenin Prize, and the State Prize of the Russian Federation, among other awards.
He studied at the Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy and contributed significantly to the field of aviation. Ilyushin died in Moscow on March 1, 2010.
