Vodafone Ventures

Vodafone Ventures is a corporate venture capital firm headquartered in Redwood City, California. It was founded in 2000 as the venture capital arm of telecommunications company Vodafone. The firm makes capital investments in startup, seed, early, and mid stage communications and internet companies. It invests between £2 million to £10 million in portfolio companies. It have invested in the education technology, Internet of Things, cloud, storage, healthcare technology, consumer products, and software sectors.

The firm initially housed a research laboratory as part of its mission to incubate startup and early stage companies. In 2014, Vodafone closed the California lab and moved its operations to the corporate headquarters in London.
