The Voronezh Agricultural University was established in 1912 by the Law of the Russian Empire as the Voronezh Agricultural Institute of Emperor Peter I. The law on the opening of the Voronezh Agricultural Institute was signed by Nicholas II on June 9, 1912, who imposed a resolution: "to be according to this." At 7 faculties of the Voronezh State Agrarian University, more than 14 thousand students are trained in 18 areas of training (35 profiles), 3 specialties, postgraduate students are trained in 24 educational programs. The teaching staff includes more than 600 teachers, including 105 doctors of sciences, professors. The University maintains links with leading agricultural universities in 25 countries of the world.
