Wallon Region Investment Fund is a government office and venture capital firm in Belgium that focuses on investing in growth and private investors through loans and equity. Founded 1979 in Liege, Belgium, it invests in early stage ventures, series B, series A, seed, and post-IPO equity. Its portfolio companies include ITeos Therapeutics, OncoDNA, Nyxoah, and PDC*line Pharma. As of April 2020, S.R.I.W. has made 90 investments. Their most recent investment was on April 1, 2020, when ITeos Therapeutics raised $125M. S.R.I.W. has had seven exits, the most notable of which include Celyad, Minoryx Therapeutics, and Mithra Pharmaceuticals SA.
