Walter B. Gibson (1897-1985) was an American writer and journalist. Born in Germantown, Philadelphia, he was a citizen of the United States. Gibson was educated at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and later attended Colgate University.
Throughout his career, Gibson used several pseudonyms, including Douglas Brown, Ishi Black, and Maborushi Kineji. He is best known for creating the character 'The Shadow'.
Walter B. Gibson passed away in Kingston, New York.
