Walvis is a Dutch venture capitalist that invested in seed and early stage Dutch Internet technology startups with global ambitions. After the first fund, which still has 6 participations, Walvis launched a second fund in 2014 to capitalize on a rich deal flow in the early stage phase.
Walvis is interested to invest in a company where annual revenue is above €1 million or their MRR is above €80,000. Walvis Fund III invests €1.5 to €5 million in (early) growth Internet technology companies. Walvis has more than €60 million total assets under management.
Walvis still has one ticket left in their third investment capital fund. And in 2020 they will open their fourth fund to invest even bigger tickets to help innovative technology companies take the big leap and scale-up.
Since 2012, Walvis has invested in entrepreneurs in the Netherlands with local and global growth dreams. They have an eye on the future and only invest capital in innovation and Internet technology scale-ups.
