The round was led by 42Cap and Dreamcraft Ventures, with additional participation from Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, Lumiere AI Ventures, and other investors. Founded in 2024 by Tomas Polivka, Steve Boogar, and Liam Boogar-Azoulay, Waypoint AI addresses a significant challenge for software organizations: managing product defects and support escalations efficiently. Waypoint AI’s flagship product utilizes large language models (LLMs) and its proprietary Escalation Intelligence Knowledge Graph (EIKG) to streamline the escalation management process. The EIKG connects various forms of knowledge, such as documentation, chat threads, support tickets, engineering comments, and commit notes, to create remediation paths for escalations.
