William Morris , born on March 24, 1834, in Walthamstow , United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland , was a multifaceted individual with many occupations. His occupations included architect , poet , graphic designer , writer , singer-songwriter , politician , environmentalist, designer, illustrator, and esperantist.
Morris received his education at Exeter College, Oxford and Marlborough College . Throughout his life, Morris produced various notable works, such as the Red House in Bexleyheath and the novel A Dream of John Ball . Morris also established a company called Morris & Co. , which later became world-renowned.
William Morris was the father of Jane Morris and May Morris . He owned the Sherbrooke Missal , a religious manuscript. Morris passed away in London on October 3, 1896 .
