Wilt Chamberlain was born on August 21, 1936, in Philadelphia and held United States citizenship. He was a multi-talented individual with occupations in coaching, screenwriting, and acting. Chamberlain was educated at Overbrook High School in Philadelphia and later at the University of Kansas.
He had several nicknames, such as The Big Dipper, The Load, The Record Book, Wilt the Stilt, and Dippy. Wilt Chamberlain passed away on October 12, 1999, in Los Angeles. He was an American National and a recipient of the NBA All-Star Game MVP award.
