Wombex

Wombex is a BNB native chain protocol for liquid providers and aggregating governance power on Wombat Exchange. The protocol assists liquid providers in allocating capital and accumulates veWOM and aggregates LPs deposits. Wombex enables WOM holders to earn on their WOM by staking WOM into wmxWOM (Wombex-owned veWOM).

WMX token holders contribute to governance aggregation on Wombat Exchange by voting to utilize protocol-owned veWOM. Token holders vote on both Wombat and Wombex proposals, receiving a share of WOM mined by Wombex LPs as incentive.

The major utility function of the WMX token is participation in Wombex governance and meta-governance, as well as associated rewards distribution. The wmxWOM is a liquid staking derivative token of veWOM in Wombex. It is granted 1:1 for every veWOM deposited. Users who deposit WOM into veWOM via Wombex get liquid wmxWOM rather than non-transferable veWOM.
