Woodcoin, also referred to as Logarithmic Bitcoin, is a decentralized proof-of-work public currency that is non-premined. This digital currency is design to solve the problem with the reward schedule structure present in other cryptocurrency that drops too fast or too slow. Woodcoin currency is represented by the symbol LOG.
History
Woodcoin was launched by the pseudonymous Funkenstein the Dwarf, reportedly a New England-based physicist, in October 2014, and uses pure Skein. A segregated witness enabled version built from Bitcoin_Core source was released as Woodcoin-core 0.13 on March 21, 2017.
