WorkSpan is a business ecosystem platform that allows for co-selling and co-marketing between technology companies. WorkSpan was founded by Mayank Bawa, Milind Joshi, and Amit Sinha in 2015. Each co-founder holds a dual role in the company; Bawa is WorkSpan's CEO, Joshi is the CTO, and Sinha is the CCO.
WorkSpan's platform lets companies accelerate their indirect revenue by partnering with other businesses. Collaborating partner teams can work together on the same platform. Solutions, marketing, and sales can all be tracked and managed through the platform to help optimize revenue. WorkSpan functions through a series of four solutions: Co-Sell, Co-Invest, Co-Innovate, and Co-Market.
Through WorkSpan's platform, co-selling partners can create and manage their joint business plans, share referrals and opportunities, collaborate through a variety of methods, close deals, and run pipeline reviews and QBRs with real-time data. Companies can also choose to co-sell with AWS, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
Together through Co-Invest, partnered companies can increase their funds utilization, ROI, and indirect revenue. The program is designed to be transparent and easy to manage. All participants, from program owners to stakeholders, are given a single interface for fund and claim management and are provided with clear views of fund availability, request, and claim status.
Co-Innovate allows companies to scale co-solution initiatives and activities across business partner ecosystems. Co-solutions can be developed using EcosystemNXT, a program that combines WorkSpan Ecosystem Cloud with Wipro EngineeringNXT’s extensive experience and expertise in delivering innovative ecosystem solutions.
With Co-Market, businesses can propose new activities and joint marketing pursuits to their partners. Joint marketing campaigns can be measured and tracked to maximize ROI. Companies can measure closed-loop and end-to-end reporting, marketing qualified leads, sales qualified leads, pipelines, and closed sales. Partners share a content library for secure distributions and updates of go-to-market assets with real-time notifications and campaign perfomance stats.
WorkSpan Academy is WorkSpan's educational platform, launched in November 2021. It offers courses and learning plans for businesses. The platform is an on-demand library set-up. As of January 2022, its only course offering is on the topic of joint sales.
WorkSpan's customers include major technology companies like Hewlett Packard Enterprises, Red Hat, Microsoft, NetApp, Accenture, VMware, Dell, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, Citrix, and SAP.
