Worksphere is the developer of a workplace management software for the safe and flexible management of hybrid workforces. The company's platform automates desk booking, wellness surveys, and contact tracing and offers businesses real-time updates on capacity, employees in the office, space utilization, and schedule requests.
The company was founded in 2020 by CEO Aakhil Fardeen, CTO Mark Piper, and Theresa Klaassen, and participated in the Winter 21 cohort of Y Combinator.
Through Worksphere's platform, businesses can manage their workplaces from a single place, including allowing employees to schedule in-office time to maintain safe capacity limits; automated wellness surveys and contract tracing to help keep employees safe; and workplace analytics to give users insight into capacity, employees in the office at any given time, space utilization, and schedule requests.
The company suggests the platform gives businesses the tools to ensure their workplace is the right size for their team and to help maximize employee productivity in hybrid work environments. Further, the platform's tools offer those employees the chance to work from wherever they are most productive, whether remote, in-office, or a combination of both.
For desk reservations, Worksphere allows users to reserve desks from their computer or mobile device. It allows users to create seating permissions for teams, offering a map of the space to show what is available to employees. And the platform provides a chance for users to set up one-time or recurring schedules either on the same day or in advance.
The platform's floorplan tool allows administrators to offer flexible or assigned seating, depending on how the employees prefer to work. As well, it provides employees a chance to navigate the office space in the case in which it has changed, or they are new to the space. This also allows administrators to see who is and who is not in the office on a given day or when an employee will enter the office, and it will give those users a chance to know where those employees are seated. This helps those users find employees, whether they are in or out of the office.
And the platform offers real-time data and analytics on capacity, space utilization, and schedules. This is to allow users to understand how their office is being used and identify ways to improve the space. This can also give users a chance to be proactive about changes to their office space.
Worksphere's platform also offers a suite of office safety and employee wellness tools to help businesses return to in-person work during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes tools for vaccine record management in order to know which employees are vaccinated and where those employees are working to help reduce business risk and liability. Further, the tool offers contact tracing to help identify who was in contact with an individual if they get sick, and send and receive notifications to allow those in contact to take immediate action in the case of potential exposure.
The office safety tools also offer automated symptom screening for employees when they come to work in office, with reminders that can be pushed out through email or Slack, and offering administrators notifications of any issues. These screenings can also be adapted to evolving guidelines and offer private, secure, and HIPAA compliant security practices. The tool can also be used to ensure safe distancing in the workspace, through digital desk blocking and enforcing capacity limits automatically.
Worksphere offers a variety of integrations to allow users to add the company's tools and platforms to their existing workspaces.
