STATE BUDGETARY INSTITUTION "SPORTS SCHOOL OF THE OLYMPIC RESERVE FOR SAMBO", Kstovo. For 18 years of work, the sports school of the Olympic reserve in sambo has made a great contribution to the development of sports in Kstovo. The school brought up a huge number of champions of the Championships and Cups of the World, Europe, Russia, etc.
At the moment, classes are held in 9 departments in the State Budgetary Institution of Higher School of Economics for Sambo: sambo, combat sambo, Thai boxing, hockey, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, taekwondo, boxing, modern pentathlon.
There are more than 30 coaches in all sports. Training sessions are conducted by experienced trainers-teachers, many of whom have state awards and titles.
There are more than 1000 students in the sports school.
Every year, the Sambo SShOR holds public events such as "Open Doors Day" and "Initiation into Athletes", where young athletes are given an athlete's passport, classification badges and young athlete badges.
The main tasks of the school:
• education of young people in the spirit of respect for elders, love for the motherland, hard work.
• involvement of children and adolescents in systematic sports;
• to promote self-improvement, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, the development of physical abilities, the achievement of the optimal level of sports results in the chosen sport;
• identification of talented athletes, training of qualified athletes - a reserve for the national teams of the Russian Federation.
