World of Tanks Blitz is based on the battle of two randomly selected teams of 7 players each, while tanks of different nations, classes (except artillery) and release years can be combined in one team. The condition for victory in battle is to destroy the enemy team in 7 minutes or capture a neutral base, for which one or more tanks must be in the marked zone for some time without receiving damage ("Counter battle"). There is also a "Superiority" type of battle, in which the team wins if it destroys all the enemy's equipment or scores 1000 victory points. Victory points can be earned by capturing points and destroying enemy equipment. It is possible to form platoons of 2 people and unite into clans.
Many mechanics are taken from the PC version, for example, damage physics. The mechanics of the PC version are also noticeable while moving through bumpy terrain. So, for example, when driving at high speed on mobile tanks, you can do drift.
Players can use a single account Wargaming.net to play World of Tanks Blitz, but cannot use the content achieved in World of Tanks on PC.
